'00 Accord - Shift Interlock and Brake Lights inoperable

    So my wife's Accord started giving her trouble shifting out of Park, and
    she'd have to 'redepress' the brake and attempt again, but now it's just
    stuck. I showed her how to get the interlock bypassed, but then I
    discovered that the brake lights don't work either. It sounds simple like a
    bad switch (though I can hear it clicking) - but a search of the archives of
    this group showed nothing about troubleshooting this. there were a couple
    of posters who swapped the switch and it didn't help.

    Anyone know how to determine this one for sure? I'll pull the switch in the
    morning, and see if I can figure how to test it, but someone who knows these
    things would be a real help.
