14 year 150,000 mile warranty on Hondas...anybody use it?

Discussion in 'General Motoring' started by CaptainKrunch, Feb 14, 2004.

  1. Has anybody here utilized the extended emission warranty for their 95-97 or
so Hondas in which Honda agrees to change the plugs, wires, cap and rotor,
change oil and filter, scan the OBD II system and replace any emission
related components free of charge to the customer?

I would like to hear good or bad how this turned out for you.

I wish the 1999 was covered. Changed a CVS sensor recently at 75000 miles
    for 320$CAD. Grrr.

I think you mean "replace any emission related components (that failed the
emission test) free of charge to the customer"?

I have done only the pre-75 k check. My car now has only 110k miles. I'll
wait until about 145 to 150k or when it fails its first smog test, which
    ever comes first.

    Is this US-only or worldwide?
My (UK) 97 Wagon was built in the US.
