    My 95 accord uses 185/70 R14 tires
    i can have a deal on 185/65 R14 tires.
Are the siuzes comparable? Anyone out there with 185/65 R14 on their stock
    rims/accord?

The difference is that the height of the tire from the ground to the
bottom end of the rim will be smaller, but you won't really be able to
SEE the difference. The car will 'slightly' be lower. The concept of
the 70 & 65, is that it determins how high your tire will be in
proportion to the width of the tread/tire. The lower the number, the
lower you'll be. You can see a significant difference between a tire
labeled xxx/70 R14 to something that may be xxx/40 R17 (the Rxx is
basically the diameter length of the rim/wheel). FYI

Your speedometer will show about 3% higher with the 185/65's than with
the 185/70's and the odometer will rack up miles about 3% faster. Your
gearing will seem about 3% lower. All in all, the differences are small
enough not to be of any practical concern.
