At lower speeds, when you take your foot off the pedal it's most noticiable,
there is a regular loud noise/vibration from the left side, around the front
wheel. It's bad enough that the car feels unsafe to drive very far. There is
no play in the wheel bearings, the tire doesn't have any obvious bubble,
the rim looks ok...it doesn't sound like a CV joint clunk(but who knows??),
and the only obvious thing I saw was the dynamic damper on the left drive
axle is very flexible and cracked badly, but not broken. The damper on the
right drive axle is almost new, very solid and unflexible. Could an old
damper cause such a vibration that you don't feel like driving the car on
the highway? This noise/vibration feels like it is associated with
    something rotating.

I'd appreciate any comments on this.
