hello. i have a question about the 3 plug wire harness in my car. This
particular plub has 3 female connection holes on it. looks almost like a
house 120 volt outlet, but instead of a small round ground hole on the
bottom it has a hole shaped like the other two.. just imagine a house socket
and you can picture this plug. there are two holes on top and one hole on
the bottom, got that image in your head? good!
i need to know which wire in my car goes where, all the wires came out and i
need to know where they go. my car has the following wires 1) white wire
with a green stripe 2) white wire with blue stripe 3) a thinner black wire
with a yellow stripe. Please tell me where these wires go. i just need to
know what one goes on the top right position which one goes on the top right
position and which one goes on the bottom. thanks

The alternator plug for the '97 Civic looks like what you describe, and
two of the wire colors correspond as well (the third is White / Red on
the Civic and White / Green on yours). I'll e-mail you scans from the
Civic service manual as they may be marginally useful. If your reply-to
address is bogus, let me know a real e-mail address and I'll try again.

Go to either your local library or your nearest auto parts store and look at
a manual, that info should be present.
