1988 Transmission Manual

    Need help/recommendation where to find a DETAILED automatic transmission
    manual for total rebuild of my 1988 Honda Accord Lxi. Haynes and Chilton
    won't even come close to what I need to do (replace clutch pack pads, clean
    transmission screen filters etc..) Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

    You should visit the parts department at the local Honda dealership and
    ask if they can order for you the official manual for your vehicle. If
    they can't do it, you should try ebay.

    They'll tell you to contact Helm's. You can check online for
    price/availability at www.helminc.com (expect to pay about $60USD, and wait
    4-6 weeks, that's what it is for my '87 CRX HF manual).
