I have a 1990 Civic DX and I cannot get it to start. The ECU is flashing 16
times which I believe is a 'fuel injector' problem. The car turns over with
no problem but it just doesn't start.

Does anybody have any ideas of what the problem might be?

Would resetting the ECU have any effect and if it might how do you do it?

    Thanks,

    16 is fuel injector..

to reset the ECU .. a lot of people told me to disconnect my battery for
a couple minutes... i didn't like that idea cause i'd lose all my radio
presets and sound settings (took me forever to get them just right) ...
one person told me to pull the ECU fuse.. it worked perfectly, and didn't
    lose my radio settings..

in my 91 civic, it's under the hood fusebox (above the pass. side wheel)
it's the fuse closest to the passenger side..

this may not be the same on the 90 .. but it's a good start.

Disconnect the injector connectors and test the injectors for proper resistance.
Since your Civic only has 2 injectors, the wrong one shorted would disable the
    engine.
