How difficult is it to change a timing belt on a 1992 Honda Civic?
    Thanks!!!

Taking off the crank pulley is 1/3 the job. Putting that pulley back on
with a proper torque is another 1/3. The rest are routine. Do get a
    decent manual before you start.

My 92 is at 170k miles. 10 more k and I'll need to change another timing
    belt.

It is not a technically challenging job, but it is hard work in places
that are difficult to access. Unless you really enjoy working on cars
    you'll regret trying this yourself.

  4. I'd have to say that the above is an excellent description. I have done the
job about 5 times, twice on my wife's present 93 Integra, but I belong to
that class of people for whom "pulling a transmission is a social event".
