I have a 94 Accord EX and I've been noticing when breaking I hear a sort
of intermittent "whooshing" sound that declines as my speed slows from
breaking. The sound seems to be coming from the back passenger wheel. Anyone
have any ideas as to what could be causing this? Thanks.

The AWD CRV makes a noise like that when the rear wheel bearing goes (I
think), but it's a bit more like the sound your tranny makes in
    reverse.(auto or manual)

Is the sound is heard just as the speed drops from about 10 mph to zero?

Knowing your mileage and service history might bring forth higher
    quality 'guesses' :)

Thanks for the reply. Yes, the sound is heard from about 10mph down to zero.
My mileage is at 213 000km which is about 130 000 miles. I just bought the
vehicle this past August and to my knowledge the Honda dealer performed a
thorough servicing. Asides from this sound which I've just been noticing the
past two months there are no other problems with the car.
