I have a problem, it is a pulse alarm that locks out the starter unless u enter
a 4 digit code. For some reason, it now does not require the code. I spoke
with a honda tech and told me to hold the green light and where the red light
normally flashes for 20 sec to reset it. No luck.....any suggestions or anyone
had a similar problem? DO i need to spend alot of $$$ to fix it?

Been a long time since I own a car, any signs i should know when brakes need
    changing?

Depends entirely on how (much) you drive.

However, they should be SERVICED at least once per year, twice in snowy
    areas.

Brake problems have to get pretty far along before you hear noises or
experience irregular behavior. If you are unsure of the history of the
brakes on your car, get them looked at NOW, or risk an even bigger repair
    bill.
