my Civic - bought several months ago ex-Japan surges when cold. once the
engine has heated up it runs fine but when cold it feels like someone is
pumping the accelerator pedal. Has been suggested that there may be some
condensation in the fuel filter. does this sound familiar to anyone and any
    suggestions??

    Thanks
    Chris

Make sure that your coolant is completely full and that all air from the
system is bled. Idle speed on almost all Hondas is controlled by coolant
temp (with some help of the computer). If your coolant gets a little low,
    you can get some surging.
