Is there any way to get the majority of the oil out? Per the manual, only
2.5 US quarts will come out.

Either do it several times until it comes out new, or use one of those
changers that replaces it as it moves through the cooler lines.

Wrong type used? Here's an undergroud method.

Drain. Fill her up "to top." Step 2: Unplug the cooler exit hose. Attach a
spare hose to direct waste fluid. Run the engine. When it comes out clear
or what difference in color stop engine immediately. Check the dip stick, it
should have fluid. I'd make sure I won't run it dry. This works on many of
my Accords not sure for your year.

If unsure, pump out a pint, then refill in a pint, then do step 2. To stop
the motor I just yank the coil wire.

    Koji San,

You should CLARIFY.... Don't tell somebody that you remove the coil
wire, cuz you KNOW they'll yank the HIGH TENSION wire instead and have a
    heart attack ! ! :)

    Stay safe.

Absolutely. But notice the word underground. There`s a limited risk
    involved.

Normally the Accord distributor type coil has an electrical connector on
them. You either have this slighty nudged out so to yank it off quickly or
just yank the coil tension wire. Yanking the wrong end of the coil tension
wire can get you shock, but you`ll live, assuming you don`t have any heart
problems. Just yank it (hand far from coil) so the coil and coil tension
wire separates. Don`t lean on the car body or you`ll be the ground.

The distributorless system use from 8-14 amps on the primary side to make
80-120kv. Some deaths reported. DON`T MESS WITH THESE!
