I just bought 1997 HONDA ACCORD SE, 77K. There is no User Manual with
it. It's in a pretty good condition but the dealer said that I have to
replace a water pump and a timing belt. But of my known mechanics
mentioned that for the 97 Accord there is a "Water ??smth? belt" that
has to be replaced too. Please advise what it could be and should I
    really do it.

That would be the 'balancer belt' which looks just like a timing belt,
just shorter. If you bought the car from the dealer, tell them you want
the owner's manual (free) since it's part of the car. Says so inside the
front cover. Mumble something about 'consumer law' if they object. Get a
used one from the wreckers if you bought it privately, or do a search
(here) and use an online version...

Use google.com to learn about accord timing belt.
