    Dear Experts,

My '98 Accord has just pasted 80K miles. I have been using
5W-30 engine oil since its purchase. Should I switch to use
10W-40 as some have recommended me? Or should I continue
using 5W-30? What about 10W-30? I live in California and the
weather is rather warm through out the year.

    Many thanks for your help!

    Best Regards,
    Eugene

You use what your manual stated, in this case 5w-30.

Besides, has a different engine suddenly appeared at 80K for you to
    use something else now? ;-)

My 1995 Nissan uses 5w-30...I don't use any other weight but DID
change from Dino oil to Mobil 1 synthetic.
