1998 Civic Ex sedan brake light

    Are yout talking about the rear brake lights or the light in the dash board?

    Bearman

    stays on for a few seconds and then goes off. Does anyone know what might be
    causing this to happen please let me know.

    Everytime I accelerate from a stopped position my brake light comes on. It stays on for a few seconds and then goes off. Does anyone know what might be causing this to happen please let me know.

    Your brake fluid reservoir sensor is trying to tell you something....
