Ok, everybody, I'm posting again in hopes somebody can shed light on
    my problem.

My 1998 Honda Accord has been running fine, but after taking it into
the shop to get it pass emissions (replaced O2 sensors and CAT) I have
    this mysterious idling problem.

Problem: If you try to accelerate before coming to a complete stop,
the car sounds and feels like the transmissions is knocking. If you
come to a complete stop and wait for the car to idle down, you can
    accelerate without incident.

This doesn't happen if the car is not coming to a stop, only when the
    car comes to a stop.
