    Hello,

I have a 98 honda civic LX sedan. I want to find out where the wiper
motor is. My wipers are not working and fuse is OK. So I think the
problem is with the wiper motor. Could you tell me where it is
located. I have been told that it is under the windshield cowling. Is
this right? An image or general location description would help. Also
would you recommend replacing it by myself or replace at a mechanic? I
have replaced simple parts (like rear tail light assembly)

    Thanks,
    Vik

If you want to start doing your own repairs, the best investment you'll
ever make is in a shop Service Manual. It diagrams everything, with
step-by-step instructions. For your model, from Helm, Inc.:
