    Ohhhh...wild guess...Main Relay? Igniter? Coil?

Got any more details to add to your sketchy post?

This happens in the morning when I first start the car or in the evenings
when I am leaving work... it turns over and then stops..i restart it..it
starts... i allow it to idle a little..as soon as i change from Park to
Reverse or Drive...it stalls....sometimes i have to try 2 or three times
before being able to move without stalling . Once it shut off on the
highway while driving..It has over 128k miles so I dont know if that has
anything to do with it. I hope I have given enough information...

    Thanks for your responses

I had exactly the same problem. Then I discovered there have been two
recalls on 1999 Hondas related to the ignition switch, with one recall
because of unexpected stalling. I took it to the dealer, got a new
ignition switch installed for free, and it seems to be fixed.
