How do reset a Maint Req orange light on the 2000 Accord?

The vehicle's Owners Manual would explain how to do that. But, if you don't
have it at your disposal, is there a small slot on the instrument cluster
(about the size of the end of your ignition key)? If so, insert the end of
the key in that slot, and the colour will change back to green. This may
work for you, I'm not sure when Honda went from this method to the lights.

Thanks. Maintenance has been maintaing by me. I have owners manual, but I
have changed everything myself. The only other thing is the timing belt but
it is due at 108k miles and I am at 76k. However, I will change that real
    soon anyway.

    Thanks

Oh well, there is no slot to speak of. I will have to think of something
    else.

Funny. But that's not how my 2000 Accord owner's manual explains it.

And a fine job it does.

Google also does a fine job.

  9. You mean, something else other than reading your owner's manual?

Wow, you really want to avoid that owner's manual thing, don't you.

  10. You have the owner's manual, but you come here to find out how to reset
    the maintenance required light.

You are a fucking loser idiot.

Well, I don't have the manual and I found out how to reset it.

    1. Car is to be in off position and key removed
    2. Press Trip/Reset knob on cluster
    3. Turn on ignition and hold down for 30 seconds and light will go out

Light was there for oil change. Since I use synthetic oil, I have less trips
    into the oil change shop.

    Later

And a fine job it does.

Well, I miswrote what I keyed in. " I don't have the manual" however, with
vocabulary you have, your the loser!
