I would rather have OEM Honda parts than something else. Plus OEM is
    cheaper.

PLEASE CHANGE YOUR COMPUTERS CLOCK, IT IS SHOWING A FUTURE DATE.

    Thank you.

: I got a check engine light on my 2000 Accord SE (2.3L ULEV) last
    week
: and had Autozone put it on the scanner today. The counter guy said
    the
: MAP, or Mass-Airflow sensor was bad. Anyway, the guy who checked it
    out
: knew the location of every sensor but the MAP. The sensor was
    $159.00
: and currently unavailable, so I brought a $3.00 screwdriver and
    thanked
: them for scanning my ECU. After getting home, I found a MAP sensor
    for
: $48.50 at Majestic Honda, and one at TAS Autoparts for $56.95. I
    assume
: it is on or near the throttle body.
    :
: If anyone has had any experience replacing this sensor on an Accord
    of
: this type and vintage, or had experience with either of these two
: vendors, your help would be most appreciated.

  5. Already taken care of... I got one from www.slhondaparts.com from their
online catalog for $57.04, including shipping. They also had the diagram
I needed to locate it. Was a dollar more than the one at Majestic Honda
before shipping, but SL Honda had a working and useful exploded diagram,
so I decided it was worth the extra buck to reward them for their efforts.
