The SRS light on my 2000 Honda Accord LX has be coming on over the last
week. I looked around on the internet and do not have anything definite

Any ideas for why it may be coming on? Thanks.

take it to the dealer. the diagnostic is covered by Honda. I've been
told that it is most likely the seatbelt and the belts are gauranteed for
the life of the car. This info is from the dealer. I just had my 2000
repaired at the dealer for a total cost of $0.00. It was the seat belt.

Same here. Kind of counter-intuitive, but there you go. It may be something
else, but one way or another, you need to find out why the light is on and
    what to do about it.

I had my light come on. Rode around with it for quite some time and
finnaly had a non-Honda Honda specialist hook it up and read it. Light
hasn't come back on in 2 years. And yes, the light still works. Don't
neglect it, but try resetting it and see if the problem recurs. But
then again if it's free, do the right thing and goto the dealer.
