2000 honda Accord

    I have an 2000 Honda Accord 4 cyl. The EGR valve was
    changed now I am told the ports need cleaning. The check engine light
    is on which keeps me from getting the vehicle inspected. Can I clean
    the ports myself and if so how. thanks
