I have a 2000 Honda CRV and I need some info about the in-dash cd
player/radio. Who is the maker and what model came with the 2000
    model?

I ask because I would like to run an auxillary line into the unit to
jack my ipod into it. My only worry is that there is not an actual AUX
in for what I want to do. Ideally wiring a 1/8th inch headphone input
would be the result. But I'm not sure this is feasible.

    Suggestions?

ps: I have an FM transmitter for the iPod but I'm not satisfied with
    the sound quality.

Your stereo has a jack on the back to allow connection of a CD changer
and /or / cassette player. That input can be used to feed your iPod
signal in, you just have to get the connector from a place like
crutchfield, or one of the other on-line car stereo shops. Doubtful your
Honda dealer will be any help on this question. :-(
