    Hello everyone,

I too am suffering the SRS woes. Vehicle had ODPS fixed while under
    warranty, still throwing errors.

It isn't as bad as others describe, the last time it was triggered it
was my fault as I placed something heavy on the passenger seat.

I have some questions about the SRS system. Can the error codes from
the SRS system be read via the OBD-II port? Or is the SRS system
    totally separate?

Is there a way to blink out the error code from the SRS computer on
an 2001 vehicle? I understand there used to be means by which to get
this information on older models, but haven't seen anything about the
    newer models.

I tried the reset proceedure against a yellow connector under the
dash. It has two green wires and a spring loaded retainer. The port is
not labelled on the distro box that it is plugged into. Is this indeed
the MES connector? There is a yellow connector a bit higher on the box
that has 4 wires (two black, two grey?). Am I hitting the right
    connector?

Also, where is the SRS module physically located? I took my car in
for inspection and it failed due to the SRS indicator. The dealer
wanted $90 or so to reset it, and I replied that I would take care of
it myself. Now I don't seem to be able to reset it -- would like to
verify they didn't disconnect the MES cable from the module end :)

Thanks for any information in advance.

the mesc connector is in the fuse box. the special tool is a connector
with a jumper across it. you plug it in and read codes on the dash
    light.
srs codes are readable through the obd2 connector but only with a
honda scan tool, they don't have to make that stuff public.

  3. I believe the procedure is the same as for a Civic as described here:
