Part was $30 at the dealer. Not a hard job just time consuming with
standard hand tools. The first this is to remove the 6" cross bolt
that holds the engine bracket to the subframe rubberized mount. Not
much space to work so your ratchet will only click but a few times
hence the amout of time.Once the cross bolt is remove take the three
bolts from the aluminum engine brace. Once that is off (that was the
easy part to remove) then look straight down to remove the three bolts
that hold the actual motor mount to the subframe. They will be rusted
so use force. The install is the reverse.
This is a common failure point for ALL late model Accords.

    1. learn how to cross-post - don't post duplicate messages on separate
    groups.
    2. all rubber motor mounts, on all vehicles, break at some time or
other. apart from clunking and other strange noises, it's rarely big a
deal and it's certainly not unique to honda.

I had THREE broken motor mounts on my 2000 Honda Accord that had to be
changed out in 2005. I brought it in due to the strange rattles when
hitting bumps on these lovely Louisiana highways where bumps are the
norm and smooth roads are rare.
