I have a CRV that was in a bad front end accident. The car was repaired but
now the steering makes a loud hooting sound when the steering wheel is
turned all the way to the left. Any idea what is going on? What needs to be
    done now?

I'm not a mechanic and will need to take it to a garage.

If this noise happens when the vehicle is in neutral, not moving, read
what your manual says about turning the steering wheel to the extreme
    left and right...otherwise...

Provided the noise you're describing is happening when the vehicle is
rolling at low speed, here is your answer:
Your mileage is about 25,000 miles, or more, right? The viscosity of the
Dual Pump Fluid is exhausted, so you need to change it. It will sound
like it's coming from all over, but that's because the whole thing is
connected thru the driveshaft. You need a litre, and you can do it
yourself. Search hondasuv.com for the terms AWD, RTAWD, or 'rear diff'.
