My 2002 Accord EX-V6 sedan is just over two years old with 30K miles.
I just started noticing a noise coming from the front end, on the
right side. It is only audible when going over bumps, or sometimes
when turning the wheel far to one side. It sounds as if something is
loose; a "clunk"-type sound, similar to what you might hear when
driving over a loose manhole cover.

The car has been serviced by a Honda dealership recently: they
installed a new transmission, replaced all 4 disc brake pads, and
resurfaced the front brake rotors. I started noticing the noise about
one month after the service, but I don't think it is related.

Any opinions as to what this noise might be? Is it likely to be
    covered under warranty?

I have owned 3 Accords previous to this one, and never had any
problems. I'm hoping this is nothing serious.

They most likely left something a little loose when they put it back
together after replacing the transmission. I would take it back to the
place that did the transmission and make them check everything that was
removed to do the trans job, as well as the front suspension in general.

If the car is still under warranty, suspension problems are covered as long
as there is no evidence that the problem is a result of collision damage.
