Every dozen starts or so, the starter doesn't engage and I get
a buzzing sound when I turn the key. I try it again and it works fine.
What could be going on here?

    DavidB,

You didn't mention your mileage, or what country you're in, but if your
CRV has an immobilizer, (ignition key with a chip in it), you may have
problems if you've got a huge metalic keyfob or lots of keyrings
    attached. I don't have a manual for a 2002, but I expect your manual
mentions this in the chapter about the 'lamp test', which is performed
every time you turn your key to the ON II position.

If the manual doesn't help explain the phenomenon, try reposting your
    question in a different way....

Regarding stage performances: When everyone else has finished playing,
you should not play any notes you have left over. -
