I bought a new Honda Odyssey 2002. I have 5100 miles on it. I have had
2 oil changes(recommended) at the dealers. My problem is the brakes.
I pull in forward on my driveway and stop. The next day when I put it
in reverse to back up I have a clunk from the rear brakes when I stop.
When I put it in drive and go forward and I have to stop I have
another clunk from the rear brakes. I have told the dealer this 2
times and he checks the brakes and tells me there is nothing the
matter with them. When I asked for an explanation he said that when I
go backwards for the first time, the brakes shift and make that sound,
and when I go forward for the first time and apply the brakes they
shift again and make that clunking sound. That is the only time it
does that. Once I apply the brakes the clunk never returns when I am
in drive. The same for reverse. I am wondering if he is just handing
me a line? I have never heard of this before. Any ideas would be
    appreciated. Thanks, yamaha8

I just bought a 2003 Honda Odyseey and haven't had that problem yet.
Only 1300 miles. I am getting terrible gas mileage. About 15 to 16
    city and hwy.

    What about your gas mileage?
