My Accord brakes (from factory) seem to be awfully sensitive to the
touch because each time I get into the car, I have to re-acquaint
myself with them or I may tend to be too jerky when applying the
brakes. My other cars (some newer) seem to have normal sensitivity
    for their brakes.

Is this normal for these newer Accords ? Acttually this isn't such a
bad thing but just a pet peeve.

I don't know if it is normal but my 2003 Accord's brakes were very touchy
but after about 10k miles they have lost their grabby feel. The brakes now
feel about the same as my previous autos.

    I notice it too.

I think there may be something going on during warmup when the idle is
faster. Maybe there is more power assist to the brakes to compensate for
the higher engine idle speed pushing the car forward more.

Or maybe we just get used to the grabbiness after we drive a while, but
I've never noticed this on any other car.
