I just took delivery of a new EX, and my wife complained immediately of
the steering being heavy. I didn't notice it at first, but it does
want to stay in a straight line, and it fights back on freeway curves.
As with most problems, the dealer says it is normal.
I assume that a lower caster setting on the alignment would help, as
would increasing the power steering assist.
Does anyone know if these are adjustable on this model?

You don't say if it is a 4 or a 6 cyl. I have an EX 4 cyl and I would
say the steering is not heavy, but it is a little odd. I find it tends
to drift easily ... which sounds like it is opposite of your
experience. I think it tends to drift left, but I do notice that on
some roads with a higher crown, it drifts to the right. I notice this
more on this car than my previous Camry or my current Passat. I also
find that when I brake with the wheel turned a bit, and car wants to
    turn further in that direction.

I have not noticed that it fights back on curves, for example, though
again, I think curving to the right takes more effort than to the
left. I'm going to have the dealer check all the alignments.

I've heard the 6 has a heavier steering feel.
