    i got the EX-L 2003 Accord
when i try to play burned cd's or cd's converted from mp3 songs to CD
    quality they skip when played
i never had this problem in my aztek and the cd's play fine in a civic and
    on a computer
i've tried various burn speed and types of blank cd's but still doesn't
work - is this a manufacturer problem?
has anyone else had this problem and if so how did u fix it?

    thanks

I had the same problem. The trick is to "end the session" and "close the
cd". On a GM car, it didn't really care if the cd was closed or not. But
it does matter on the new Accords (I got a '03 EX-L coupe). I've tried many
combinations with a CD-RW and if you end the session and close the cd (or
finalize the cd), everything will work - even with a CD-RW.

We had the same problem on a 2002 Accord. The CD would not stop playing,
even when the ignition was turned off- we had to pull the fuse on the CD
player to get the little bugger to stop. It's obviously a feature of the
    Accord (!) ... Mark's solution looks good.

Its got retained power accessory..... as long as you turn off the key and
keep the door closed then you can listen to cds or operate power windows
sunroof etc... for around i think 8 or 10 minutes OR until you open the door

  6. Then it's wired wrong.

I'm wondering about the 2003 Accord...
