    Hi all,

I have a TL, which has been perfect so far. I noticed that a few days
ago, the beep that you hear when you arm the alarm system suddenly got
much much quieter. Its still there, but you have to be standing pretty
much next to the car to hear it.

Any ideas on how to fix?

    Thanks

Your neighbor (who works night shifts) is SO HAPPY that sticking a sock
    in it actually works.

As long as your horn still works perfectly, does it matter?

I doubt my neighbor cares about the beep tone when I arm my alarm (and
they don't work night shift anyway). Its a single beep, and not that
    loud.

The horn doesn't sound at all when the system is armed; the beep is my
only indication that the car armed the alarm; at first I thought it
wasn't arming at all, until it was quiet once when I armed it.

Since I'm probably going to sell / trade it in soon, I'd like to have
everything in perfect working order (and this is the only thing that
    isn't).

Just out of curiosity, if you couldn't or are unwilling to answer my
question, why bother posting to quipe? Don't you have anything better
    to do?

On another off-topic note, please limit your responses to the news
group, I don't need an email copy.

    Thanks
