In my 2003 Civic LX sedan, when I go over bumps, I hear a sound from my rear
window area that sounds like plastic rubbing plastic or the window. When I
bang on the back window deck area, I can hear the sound a little, but see
nothing that is out of whack. Is this a known problem? Is there something to
    do about it?

My 2003 Civic has some temperature related plastic problems.
Both windshield pillar covers will rattle at low temperatures.
When they aren't rattling on their own, I can smack them with my hand and
tell that it is the same noise that I hear on cold mornings on rough roads.

being as the car is new, why not bring it to the dealer and let them fix
it for you,, probably they locked up some guy in the back door/window
    area when building the car??????

Used to have a 2001 2dr. There was a noise in the same area and the dealer
ended up dismounting the brake light assembly. That fixed it. It was covered
by the warranty. It's better if you know exectly how to reproduce the sound
    and let them hear.
