I just picked up a 2005 Civic SI Sedan (I previously had a 2003 Civic LX
    Sedan).

I will be trying to install an after market MP3 Player in lieu of the
factory CD that came with the car. In my 03 Civic, the dash panel that
houses the Radio/HVAC controls was simple to remove, all one had to do was
pull the entire trim/panel out and unscrew/unclip the radio. I tried this
in the 05 SI and it doesnt come out as easy as I thought it would. Are
there any manuals that show locations of clips/screws or does anyone have
any idea how I can get the radio out??

Also, Honda has now added a very irritating reminder "beep" to put the
seat belt on. (I hate the beep!!) Keeping in mind I wear my seatbelt
99.9% of the time, is there any way to disconnect or bypass that dam
    Beep??

    thanks
    AH

  2. Buckle up before you start the car.

Easiest way is to visit a wrecking yard. Cut a buckle off the belt from a
wrecked Honda, and just plug that in when you want the alarm to shut up.
This will also turn off that annoying light.

Keep it in the glove compartment when you're not using it.
