    Hi,

I just purchased a stripped down 2006 Civic DX with no stereo. Any
suggestions on the best stereo to put in there? One which doesn't
require a miracle to get it installed? Ideally I'd like to install it
myself but not if I have to fabricate brackets, etc.

    Any suggestions or thoughts appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Doug

  2. Just go to Crutchfield. They'll include everything, PLUS any technical
    support you require.

    They're very, very good.

I like the Honda Accord Stereo's. What about getting a factory one for
    the civic?

you can buy kits. definately get the wiring harness adapter! you do NOT
want to be chopping wires on a brand new car.

THe stereo in my 2006 Odyssey and 2005 Accord Hybrid both suck probably
because of the lousy in glass antenna though other manufacturers seem to
    have solved that problem.

  8. The 2005 Accord Hybrid with the amplified mini-whip sucks too.
Replacing the radio helps with multipath problems but the signal is
    still weak.

Do Civics still have the big whip antenna up front? My 2005 HAH makes
    me really miss my Civic.
