It would be BEST to finish your coffee before getting in the car to
drive it, and concentrate on DRIVING when you're behind the wheel. :p

    I have a 2007 Camry XLE.

How do you break the cupholder?

    Just wondering?

I can't believe I'm contributing to this retarded (and crossposted) thread,
but I've always liked the cupholders in my Maxima. There are two in the
front, differently sized. One fits a can/20 oz soft drink cup, and the
other can fit something with a slightly larger base like a thermos or
    plastic bottle.

And, if that's not enough for you, the two cupholders are actually a single
plastic insert that comes out, so if you have something with a really big
base like a coffee mug or Super Big Gulp, just take the insert out and
you're all set. It may sound like a PITA, but I rarely take mine out since
    I don't often travel with a liter+ of soda. :)

    Hi...
Great idea! AFAIK, the Maybach has a stemmed cup that is designed to fit in
    their cupholder.

What is all the bloody bullshit about CUPholders. I have used a cup, in a
vehicle, maybe ONE PER CENT of the time that I have been in a vehicle.
People, this is NOT an issue for anyone with a LIFE.

Hmm. Maybe cheaper than a Venus II or is it Venus 2000?. Google is your
    friend.

Not sure if it's the same as the Camry hybrid which was at the auto
show, but the cup-holders in the front had a small hard plastic flip
thingee that was spring-loaded. It was very flimsy, and with all the
people getting into that car to look at it, someone apparently pulled it
the wrong way, and that was the end of it.

What about drinking your fucking beverage BEFORE getting into the vehicle?

Coffee is a healthy herbal beverage that should be consumed continuously
no matter where you are or what you are doing.

If he's only used a cup 1% of the time he's been in a vehicle, then he
doesn't have much of a life.

Sadly, the exotics were not available for the public to sit in at the
San Jose car show, only to look at from behind a rope, so I didn't get
to evaluate the cup holders on the Maybach, the Rolls, the Lamborghini,
    or the Ferrari.

Right. If you woke up this morning and are reading this then you have a
life, such as it is, and another chance.

Now THIS is one of the best ideas I have seen recently. Provide a few of
them. How much can this cost versus the advertising value?

The double-walled stainless steel mugs with lids that seal well, have a
wholesale cost of $2-3 without the logo.

Most parts departments already sell these mugs, though not tailored to
    specific vehicle's interiors.
