2007 Honda Accord - Marks on Dash Panel

I just bought a 2007 Honda Accord LX-V6. The dash board panel on the
    passenger
side has a rectangular mark (very clearly visible). I took it to the
    dealer the very next
day and he agreed that this is a manufacturing defect in the panel
    which houses the
passenger side airbag. He ordered a new part and called me in to
    replace it. Today he
says that all the new 2007 Accords that he has have the same mark.

How can Honda be shipping out cars with such a glaring cosmetic defect?

I called Honda customer relations and got a stupid woman on the phone.
    She had
no clue and was not willing to listen and understand my issue. I am
    going to keep
escalating this issue till I get it resolved.

Does anyone else have this problem ?

The plastic piece in the middle of my steering wheel has this light
    rectangle imprint
on it. I got my Accord in 2004.

I'm not really that pleased with the build quality of my car.

I have a 2006 Accord with the same rectangle you speak of. I find that if I
don't look at it then it doesn't bother me. Nobody that has ever ridden with
me has ever mentioned it so I try not to think about it. To be honest with
you, when I first saw it I thought it was where a sticker had been placed
from the factory and the dash just hadn't been cleaned properly. I sat in a
2007 Accord last week and saw the rectangle on that dash also. I don't think
that it's a defect passing from year to year - only a nuisance if you look
    at it.
