87 Accord U-Joint

    When shifting into reverse or drive, there's a clunking noice coming
    from the drive-shaft. Do Honda's have u-joints or is it called
    something else?

    They have "CV" joints at each front wheel. They usually do not make a CLUNK
    noise when putting it into gear even when they are going bad. You will
    usually hear them making noise when you are going around a turn. If you have
    a clunk, you probably have a broken motor or transmission mount. I'd check
    there first.
