There is a loud clicking noise coming from the right front window when it's
used. When it clicks, the window stops however if you push on it, it will
continue to move. I suspect there probably is a broken gear which maybe
causing the problem . I've taken all the fasteners off the inside door
    panel but could not
get the panel off. I have electric windows and the door cover appears to be
hinged from the top. You should be able to pull up while moving it slightly
from side to side. I did not want to put any additional pressure on this so
I would not break it. Has anyone taken the inside door cover off? If so,
is there a trick to getting the top portion of the cover released from some
    possible clips at the top?

    Please let me know.

    Regards

    TB

    Hi --

I'm working on exactly the same problem with my '96 Civic HX. In my
case, it's three teeth fully or partially stripped from the large,
crescent-shaped gear that's part of the window regulator. It took me a
couple of tries to get the door off; e.g., I forgot to remove that
inner cover for the side mirror assembly. You might go through again
and just make sure that the clips are the only thing still holding the
    door panel in.

Good luck. You can be sure that at least one person really does feel
    your pain.
