In my '89 CRX, the interior fan for the heater/air conditioner sometimes
works and sometimes it doesn't. I replaced the entire HVAC control panel on
the dash, and it worked ok for a week. Now, same thing. Any suggestions
    would be very much appreciated.

I once had the fan switch go bad, but it seems you already replaced
yours. Another common failure is the resistor pack that is used to get
different fan speeds. Typically if this resistor pack is broken the
highest fan speed will still work. The resistors are usually mounted
    somewhere on the fan itself.

Sometimes water can drip inside, as outside temp drops and freeze the
fan blade in place (at least it did on old Volvo). Solution was to make
sure care was clear of snow at end of day, and let heater core warm up
with fan OFF, so ice would melt (or blast hot water in at car wash :) )

    YMMV

I'm in Orlando, Florida. We haven't had much snow here lately. Thanks for
    the suggestion, though.

That's exactly what was happening, it only worked on high speed...and then
it quit working entirely. Then I replaced the control panel. I'll look for
the resistor pack. Thanks very much!
