I have a 90 Accord EXI, great car, over 200K on the odometer, the problem
    is the stereo!
Front channels cut in and out, mostly out, sometimes if you adjust the
    mirror, they come back in!

Has anyone else ran into this problem?

Seems like some sort of short, but is it in the radio or the wiring
    somewhere?

    Any words of wisdon!

  2. Yes, is a very common problem. I had exactly the same problem, so I read
about in on google groups. It's a problem in the radio, which can be fixed,
but it's cheaper to buy another one on Ebay or at a junkyard ($10-$30 +
shipping). In case you buy a new one and don't get the security-code, you
can get that at your Honda dealer, if you have the serial number of the
radio. Other option is of course to buy an aftermarket one, a reasonable
    cd-receiver starts below $100.
I bought one at Ebay and replaced it, and never had problems with the radio
    anymore.
