what seems like no reason-. i had the oil changed and about 15 mins
later it started this afternoon. it stays off when i first start the car
and comes on a few mins later --any suggestions ? i LOVE this car- !!!

You can check the ABS fluid reservoir to see if it is low on brake
fluid. If not then you need to have it checked at a qualified repair
shop. The ABS system will not work when the light is on but the cars
normal braking system will continue to work correctly so the car is
    safe to drive. Good luck!

    larry,

I'm pretty sure that your PARK BRAKE light in the dash is burnt out, and
your park brake is not seated all the way to the floor. This will
trigger a fault in the ABS diagnostic, to warn you that you're about to
smoke your back brakes. It takes a few second to come on because,
otherwise, every time you used your park brake while stopped at an
up-hill traffic light, you'd get an ABS warning as well as a Park Brake
    light.

Suggest you should read your owner's manual where it explains how to
test your dash lights. There's some interesting stuff in there. Let us
    know what you find . . . . .
