Here's my deal, we did a overhaul on the engine, new rings, valve
seals, head gasket, timing belt, balance shaft belt, water pump. The
car started, ran strong, then after sitting for a week in a garage, no
spark, no love at all, couldn't start the car. It has 223,000 miles on
it. As far as everyone telling me the car was untouched for that week.

    Problem:
-- Check Engine Light code 15 (ignition output signal)
-- No Spark, engine does not turn over.

    Replaced the following:
    -- distributor
    -- rotor
    -- ignition coil
    -- distributor cap
    -- ecu
    -- ground wire
    -- battery
    -- spark plugs

The code on the ECU will not reset, I checked the fuses and they all
appear fine, in side and under the hood.
Need your help... I'm at a loss. otherwise I'm going to start stripping
it down and selling the parts to whoever needs them (seeing how I have
a lot of new ones on there).

    Thanks

Hold on! You mean the starter spins, the engine goes chugga chugga, but it
    won't fire?

Or do you mean the starter won't turn?

When you crank the starter, does the tach needle jump a little bit? I
notice you never said you replaced the igniter. That's likely the issue
    here.

The igniter is in the distributer, which I replaced, so that's new. Yes
the engine goes chugga chugga, and no spark, I took out the starter and
had that tested at autozone and it passed and is working property. I
haven't seen the tach move at all when I try to start it up, and it's
not key ignition either because I have a remote start on it and does
the same thing when I try to start it from that. Help me please! I'm at
a total loss on this one. I have too much of my own blood on that
engine (from working on it) to strip it down and sell it's parts.

    Your "new" igniter is BAD.

Well, I guess there's one way to find out hugh, I'll test that piece, I
think there's some volt/ohms testing I can do on it to see if it's
working properly, I'll check that and see if that's the issue. I just
didn't suspect that because the entire distributer is new and the
igniter looks spankin new on it. I replaced my distributer once before,
a few years back, and my old one looked a lot worse 'new' than this
one... Oh well, I'll let you know how the testing goes. Thanks for the
    info again.
~the reason I don't think it's that is because my check engine light
will not reset after unhooking the batery for 20 mintues and pulling
the fuses. I guess I'll know in a while, won't be a few weeks until I
can get back under the hood though. Thanks again!

Just a question . . . Does this ring a bell? Is that the kind of ignitor
that's supposed to have Heat Sink paste on it, or it will FRY after a
    short while?

doesn't ring a bell with me, my igniter looks like it just plugs in the
side of the distributer, nothing special about it, it's covered by the
dist cap... I'll let you know what goes on once I can get back under
    the hood.

do you think it could be a main relay? I saw that on that link to the
site (which I've actually checked out before, found it through
    google... good troubleshooting on it).

  11. I don't remember if this has been brought up or not, but...

Are the new ignition parts OEM or aftermarket?
