93 civic - engine fan / rear defroster relay

Last summer the rad in my 93 civic died, and in the process of
replacing it I noticed that my engine fan never spun.

The problem was the relay (in the fuse box under the hood) was blown.
I verified this by switching it with the identical relay for the rear
defroster. But now, of course, I don't have a working rear defroster.

I've been to NAPA and CarQuest in both Canada and the USA and have
always been told this is a part I will only find at a Honda
dealership. I checked my neighbourhood dealership and was told it
would cost me upwards of $60 for the part!

I have a few questions, if anyone could comment I'd appreciate it.

    1. Is this a reasonable price?
    2. Is there anywhere other than a dealer I will find this part?

A wrecking yard. About five bucks. Get several.

  3. The following appear to have it for at least $20 less:
    www.bkhondaparts.com (Illinois)
    hondaautomotiveparts.com (Rhode Island)
    slhondaparts.com (california)

    E.g.

Thanks for the links. Based on those listings I've now also located
the relay from suppliers on my side of the border. (I'm wary of
having anything marked "auto parts" shipped across the border.)

I think I'll try the wrecker first, though.
