i am having problems with my 93 honda civic ex. all of the guages in
the instrument panel have stopped working. along with my blinkers and
clock (but the hazards work). the only thing that shows up on the panel
is the battery light when i start the car. it runs fine it seems and
all the fuses are ok. i have been all over the wiring diagrams trying
to figure out what could cause this but i just cant make to much sence
of any of it. if you have any suggestions i would REALY appriciate it.

Sounds like just one ground lug snapped or corroded off could do that,
since it's taking out multiple devices. If you have the real schematics,
concentrate on the ground side, or maybe it could be the FAMOUS HONDA
IGNITION SWITCH, since the Hazards work with the key being OFF.

They only recalled about a billion of them a few years later . . . .
    Holmes, you're brilliant!
