My 94 Accord A/C will not work. The compressor kicks on, and I've checked
the freeon (spelling?) level and it's high. Any suggestions for things to
check other than the compressor and freeon?
    Thanks

Checking that the compressor clutch is spinning and freon is present a good
first step. Without knowing more, my guess is that your compressor is no
longer "compressing" properly - you should have a pressure difference
between the 'High' and 'Low' side of the system. Take it to a Tune Up shop
that handles A/C and have it checked. You should be able to find a shop
that will check the pressure for a "special price" of $20-30. My guess is
that the pressure differential will turn out to be virtually zero. If that
is the case, expect to have to replace the compressor, evaporator and
condenser... Mechanics charge $1200+ easy for parts and labor.

Freon pressure HIGH is just as bad as LOW . . It will shut the system
OFF. There's a safety switch for BOTH conditions.

And in case you don't find two switches, Honda often uses a single
switch that will trip at both too high and too low pressure.
