    So I just had the front brake pads replaced on my '95 Accord DX and now
    there is a rather annoying and repetetive creaking noise that occurs when
    lightly tapping on the brake. Important to note that I never had this
    noise prior to the pad replacement.

    My mechanic tells me that it could be the rotors causing the problem, but
    I get the sense this a guess.

    Any light that could be shed on this?

    Many thanks in advance.

    ===============

    Lump of rust / grunge between the wheel hub and rotor puts rotor WAY out
    of true, brakes slide left-right to follow. At low speeds you hear it.

    Probably just sloppy workmanship. My Honda dealer did it to me too.

    What I normally do when I replace my brakes is to clean off any excess
    dust with brake cleaner. But good luck trying to get any dealer to do
    that. Go get a $2 can of brake cleaner and clean the rotors/brakes and
    see if that fixes your problem.
