    Hello,

Trying to order a muffler for a DIY replacement project and it is
showing a different muffler if made in Japan (which mine is...VIN
starts with JHM). Unfortunately it costs $100 more than the USA made
car (using the partsamillion.com site: $85 for Bosal, $185 for Ansa).
Bosal doesn't make a part for the Japanese car...and neither does
    Walker (from the walkerexhaust.com site):
    "SOHC4 CYL. CIVIC EX 2 DR. & 4 DR. w/1.6L ENG. (EXC.1995 4 DR. JAPAN
    PRODUCTION) 5073"

Maremont does not distinguish between the 2 versions. I don't know if
that means it will fit or they just aren't aware of a difference.

Can anybody explain the difference between the 2 versions? Can I
kludge the USA version onto my Japanese car?

    Thanks in advance,
    Bob
