97 Accord 105K servicing recommendations?

97 Accord LX Wagon, 2.2L, 4 cyl, Auto, Air. Runs fine.

It's time for the 105K servicing, which means timing & timing balancer
belts, and all the usual stuff (I adhere precisely to the factory
recommended maintenance recommendations.) Add to that tranny fluid (I
tend to go through transmissions) and a fuel filter.

My question is - what else should I have done that's not in the
factory recommended maintenance schedule to head off potential
problems with an Accord of this age?

    Thanks,
    Steve in Ventura CA

Timing belt is overdue by a couple of years, and the manual is WAY too
conservative about the ATF. I would have done it at 50,000 Km (30,000
    Miles)

Changing the ATF (with Honda fluid) is the way to prevent premature
failures. Having owned a CR-V I can tell you just how WRONG a Honda
    manual can be.

    I had the tranny fluid changed at 30K, 46K, 63K, 82K, 91K, and 98K.
That's the one thing I have done in excess of the factory specs. Yes,
I have transmission failure paranoia. After having had to have them
rebuit in a couple past vehicles.... seems like cheap insurance (but
    no guarantee.)

I'm trying to find out, what's the next likely thing to crap out that
I might be able to head off.

every 3 years, heres what i do to my 98 civic:

    oil/filter change
    new spark plugs
    new air filter
    drain/replace coolant
    replace brake fluid
    replace clutch fluid

so id add brake fluid to the list if it isnt on there already

id only be paranoid if i had the V6/automatic. youve got the 4cyl, and
    *should* be "safe".

sounds like you take care of everything well and on time. dont think
there are any known issues with that year/model. hows the brake fluid?
dos/did it require a valve adjustment?

It got a valve adjustment and brake fluid replacement at 90K. Next
    valve adjustment due at 120K.

    Thanks,
